Supercharged Torque Converters

A supercharger can dramatically change an engine’s torque output—and that changes what the torque converter is being asked to handle.

Boss Hog torque converters for supercharged applications are intended for combinations requiring converter characteristics appropriate for increased power and torque.

Converter selection should account for boost, engine output, camshaft, vehicle weight, transmission, gearing, tire diameter and how the vehicle will be used.

Don’t choose a converter for a supercharged build from stall speed alone.
